Northern Beaches Home Office

We needed to update our home office to accommodate both my husband and I working from home on a regular basis, fortuitously this was before COVID hit.  Kristie and Brooke understood our needs immediately and asked really insightful practical questions about the way we wanted to work, which together with their creative design input resulted in both a beautiful and highly functional space which we truly love working in. We really appreciate the love and effort Kristie and Brooke put in for us, we feel it as we enter the room.

1st February 2021 In

Awaba House

For everyone 2020 has been a year like no other, but particularly for our family as we blended two families with 5 kids between us and undertook a whole house renovation while living on site. Throw in 2 job losses due to Covid and our stress levels peaked. However, without Brooke and Kristie, we truly would have lost our sanity. We now exhale when we walk into our beautiful home, which wouldn’t have been achieved without Acton Rumble holding our hand along the way.

From the first brief, Brooke and Kristie immediately knew the direction our new home makeover required where not one room was left untouched, and have delivered a final product that is both WOW and family friendly. They understood our budget restrictions and worked with our old treasured pieces while introducing new cohesive ones.

Brooke and Kristie’s warmth, empathy, design style and industry knowledge meant we always trusted their recommendations and the end result has certainly delivered. Nothing was ever too much trouble, particularly when we would call on them at short notice to review the trade’s work to ensure we were proceeding down the right track.

Our home renovation is now a distant memory and I look forward to our next move when we can work with Acton Rumble again. I can’t recommend them more highly. Their professional approach plus genuine care meant they enhanced our renovation experience.

We have been working with Kristie and the team at Acton & Rumble, on our home over the last 2 years. The team have proven to be the consummate professionals and always a true pleasure to work with. I can say without reservation that it is their work on the design of our home has been the difference between having a nice house and a house so beautiful that I will never want to leave it.

Kristie’s own warmth, and love of family and friends is reflected in her personal style and flows through into her design. In her design, form always follows function, and she sees all spaces from the viewpoint of nurturing the people who will spend time in them. Although Kristie very well knows her way around the deep end of the designer interiors world, she possesses a style and taste that is totally independent of labels or expensive trophy pieces. For Kristie style is an attitude, not a price point. In our home she has shown that she can work to any budget without skimping on the style quotient, and has always faced the inevitable challenges that building and designing present with a positive can-do attitude, using her creativity and positive attitude to always come up with beautiful solutions to tricky spaces.

If you want a house with all the latest fads that shows off how much money you have spent and which designer stores you have shopped at, don’t hire Acton & Rumble. If you crave a home with spaces that bring people together and that exudes comfort, warmth, taste and style then you should engage their services at once.

We thoroughly enjoyed working with Kristie and Brooke on our home renovation. We were not looking to make massive changes, but they listened, took our wishes into consideration, and delivered results that were beyond what we would have had the confidence to attempt ourselves.

Kristie and Brooke have great contacts within the industry, and are generous with sharing what they see on their trips to different stores and outlets.
